Pre op consultations

A process of two stages :

  • The first consultation is the first contact where we define the expectations and the needs of the patient as well as advantages and disadvantages of the techniques and procedures you have chosen.
  • The second consultation allows for a fuller understanding of your needs and expectations and the full range of potential outcomes and risks, it can take place just after arrival in Paris.

The procedure

All procedures take place within the “European Standards of Safety” which are the highest and most rigorous in the world.

The Post operative follow up

A surgical procedure not only includes the technical surgical procedure but also pre and post operative care for you the client Following the procedure, a good medical follow up is necessary.
To do so, a good dialogue between the patient and the surgeon will develop.

The immediate post operative follow up

The first week Within the 3 to 6 days that follow the procedure, a certain number of treatments are necessary. They will be dealt with, on site, by a nurse, the surgeon assistant or by the surgeon himself. - The 6th week This is the most important stage in the evolution of the procedures outcome. During this period, the result is not yet set, but some changes appear.

The late follow up, due to the importance of this stage in achieving your desired results. The presence of the surgeon is required. Six months after the procedure a consultation with the surgeon is advisable to assess the begining of the stabilisation process. It is necessary to wait a year to see the ultimate result that will not likely be altered.

Potential problems

It is important to remember that when a patient establishes / agrees on a contract with the surgeon it is a contract of means but not of result. The surgeon must put everything in place so that the proceedure carried out is successful. In any case, a guarantee on the result can be demanded.

The post op alterations

The possibilities for alterations must also be accepted by the patient as they are part of a classic post op follow up. 1 % to 3% of the initial procedures need an alteration for minor adjustments or small asymmetries. They are realised under local anaesthesia and are not subject to additional fees.
